The pitch:

Hello friendos,

Last year I raised 515.00 CDN human earth dollars with help from Jason Ludwig (we tandem played WOW ‘All Night Long’ (Lionel Richie earworm)) and Elizabeth Wilkie who is my partner in life crime.

This year I’m trying to raise money for the Stollery Children’s Hospital again because hey, kids are rad and I don’t want to cry right now so I’ll leave it at that.

Actually, I won’t. I have friends with kids. I have a lovely little boy (pictured). I have friends with kids on the way (as I write this). Children are magic. I love magic.

I’m staying up all night playing World of Warcraft again. With this said, I’m also adding a level of frustration to Elizabeth’s life so, if you don’t want to donate to the hospital or for the kids, donate to her. Because, as she puts it, “You can be a bit of a jerk when you don’t get your sleep.” Well honey, it is for the kids. 

As insentive, I’ll be social media-ing along the way and annoying the living crap out of everyone because that is my superhero power.

I’ll level with you crazy cats. Any donation will do. One dollar. Two dollars. Ten hundred dollars. Anything. A lot of people are doing this type of thing this year, which is great. I don’t want to create a donor burn out, so a couple of bucks here or there is awesome and appreciated.
